The New Zealanders keep coming. Mr. Adkin was apparently quite the Renaissance man: he was a farmer, geologist, archaeologist, ethnologist, photographer, tramper and environmentalist. As an amateur scholar he made a significant contribution to the study of natural sciences in New Zealand.
